Cambios - Quito North Mission

 Whats up everyone!

Hope you guys are all doing great!
Well to start off honestly this week was bomb were able to put 4 baptism dates just me and my comp. One of these dates is a Dad that i've known for a while. When i first got here i walked into lessons with a family of two girls they got baptized and we knew that the mom was a member and the dad no, but that day of their baptism we talked to the dad a little and we told him that we would love to talk to him. It really never happened bc he was so busy w his work but one Sunday i got the impression to ask if we could talk w him in his house some day. He said yes but again when we tried to go over that day he was a work. It wasn't till this week his wife called us this week to come over to talk w him. We were like bet. He invited us in so happily and we chatted w him for like 30 min. His whole family came and sat down next to him. And i asked him what does he remember about what the other missionaries had taught him ( bc he has talked w missionaries for like 7 year ). He just answered and said i don't remember too much but i remember baptism and im ready for it. It was awesome really i could see the spirit in the whole family so happy. But yeah w put a baptism date on him for this month and have a lesson w him today
But yeah thats a dope story now this week we should have transfers, we have no idea whats gonna happen but we are excited, hopefully things will go back to normal here haha. All we know is A LOT is going to change here is the mission is what our President said!
But yeah thats all really have a good week!
Oh yeah and finally got to eat some pig this week (its w the french fries)

Cheese w some honey - Quito North, Ecuador

  Yo everyone!! What's good how ru you all! This week I hit 10 months this past week, so crazy! This week was pretty normal besides Friday and yesterday! Friday is a day here that's like good Friday in the states. But here they eat this soup that they only eat on this day. Its crazy It literally has like 20 different things In It. It's got like 12 different beans, avocado, eggs, fried bread balls and bananas (bananas are on everything here.) I'll add a pic what It looks like below.. On Sunday we had two awesome baptisms with two teenagers Paula and Alejandro! Also we have this recient convert that got baptized about a week ago and she lives in a town called Tufiño. It's about 20 min in a bus outside the town. We have been planning on going there for ever to meet her family and yesterday we finally went. It went so well we got to know the family we talked to them for a little while and taught them about the restoration. The people here and especially in little towns ...

Quito! - Quito North, Ecuador

  Hey everyone! Fat minute since I wrote an email but here I am! Last transfer I was only in an area for one transfer in Otavalo, it was literally on a volcano and the people were indigenous and it was just straight farm land. Even the Sacrament meetings were in Quechua. It was pretty dope honestly I got to learn a little bit of language. But then I got transferred about a week ago... Now I'm in the big city of Quito as a "finder" basically an assignment that we just contact all day and we just teach one lesson w people and it's like a lesson to really see if they are interested, and if they are we pass the to the area in the zone! So it's actually really dope but we are traveling a bunch and meeting a lot of new people. Also there's four of us and 2 of them are freshies from the mtc! And last week was awesome because we were able to find some that wants to get baptized in the future!
