1 year - Quito North, Ecuador

 Hey everyone! This week was good but crazy! We started off going to zone conference and it was so dope! We went to this huge statue of a virgin but I don't think it's virgin mary I really have no idea but all I know is president Kimball dedicated Ecuador there, then we went to the Temple in Quito, it's still not open yet but it's so dope! We took a bus around until like 1 then ate some lunch and had a little conference. We left conference and I still didn't have a companion. The rest of week we were so busy because we are taking care of two area it's nuts. But yeah there was like some emergency transfers and we got a new zone leader but yeah I still don't have a comp so bet. But this week we got a lot planned, in my area I should have 2 baptisms named Marisol and Yolanda! Also this week I hit 1 year, so crazy time is so different in the mission but I really love it, I've learned so much and it's just the best helping out people, helping them find purpose in life. But yeah this week might be nuts again too and we have transfer on the 21st and my Presidente leaves the 30th.

Cheese w some honey - Quito North, Ecuador

  Yo everyone!! What's good how ru you all! This week I hit 10 months this past week, so crazy! This week was pretty normal besides Friday and yesterday! Friday is a day here that's like good Friday in the states. But here they eat this soup that they only eat on this day. Its crazy It literally has like 20 different things In It. It's got like 12 different beans, avocado, eggs, fried bread balls and bananas (bananas are on everything here.) I'll add a pic what It looks like below.. On Sunday we had two awesome baptisms with two teenagers Paula and Alejandro! Also we have this recient convert that got baptized about a week ago and she lives in a town called Tufiño. It's about 20 min in a bus outside the town. We have been planning on going there for ever to meet her family and yesterday we finally went. It went so well we got to know the family we talked to them for a little while and taught them about the restoration. The people here and especially in little towns ...

Quito! - Quito North, Ecuador

  Hey everyone! Fat minute since I wrote an email but here I am! Last transfer I was only in an area for one transfer in Otavalo, it was literally on a volcano and the people were indigenous and it was just straight farm land. Even the Sacrament meetings were in Quechua. It was pretty dope honestly I got to learn a little bit of language. But then I got transferred about a week ago... Now I'm in the big city of Quito as a "finder" basically an assignment that we just contact all day and we just teach one lesson w people and it's like a lesson to really see if they are interested, and if they are we pass the to the area in the zone! So it's actually really dope but we are traveling a bunch and meeting a lot of new people. Also there's four of us and 2 of them are freshies from the mtc! And last week was awesome because we were able to find some that wants to get baptized in the future!
