Week 4 in South Salt Lake City, UT



Hello everyone!



I am very sorry I don't know how I already forgot to do weeks 2 & 3, I will be better. Week 2 was very good, honestly can't remember what exactly happened on week 2 but it was good ha. Week 3 was great, we got to baptize this kid that turned 8 a while ago because his dad is not a member and the mom wanted us to do it! I got to do the confirmation which was dope. Every day I'm still studying my Spanish by myself, but when I hear someone say they know Spanish I always try to say a few things hahah. This Week 4 was awesome as well. One funny story was the last pday we decided we were gonna go get some canes then go bowling. We got canes and when we were at the bowling alley, this lady came up and was like "i'm gonna buy you guys a pizza" we were like "thank you so much you are so nice!" But man, we were so full. We also got some drinks from Fizz before ( cuz they are only a dollar for the 44oz for missionaries ) and then some other people walked up and gave us all big cups of sprite. Of course we thanked them, but we were stuffed. It's just so awesome here, there are so many homie members that are so cool to us and are willing to help us out all the time. We've been trying to find some new people to teach but it's been hard. We've got people in mind but we gotta get in contact with them. Hopefully this week  we will be able to find them!

Cheese w some honey - Quito North, Ecuador

  Yo everyone!! What's good how ru you all! This week I hit 10 months this past week, so crazy! This week was pretty normal besides Friday and yesterday! Friday is a day here that's like good Friday in the states. But here they eat this soup that they only eat on this day. Its crazy It literally has like 20 different things In It. It's got like 12 different beans, avocado, eggs, fried bread balls and bananas (bananas are on everything here.) I'll add a pic what It looks like below.. On Sunday we had two awesome baptisms with two teenagers Paula and Alejandro! Also we have this recient convert that got baptized about a week ago and she lives in a town called Tufiño. It's about 20 min in a bus outside the town. We have been planning on going there for ever to meet her family and yesterday we finally went. It went so well we got to know the family we talked to them for a little while and taught them about the restoration. The people here and especially in little towns ...

Quito! - Quito North, Ecuador

  Hey everyone! Fat minute since I wrote an email but here I am! Last transfer I was only in an area for one transfer in Otavalo, it was literally on a volcano and the people were indigenous and it was just straight farm land. Even the Sacrament meetings were in Quechua. It was pretty dope honestly I got to learn a little bit of language. But then I got transferred about a week ago... Now I'm in the big city of Quito as a "finder" basically an assignment that we just contact all day and we just teach one lesson w people and it's like a lesson to really see if they are interested, and if they are we pass the to the area in the zone! So it's actually really dope but we are traveling a bunch and meeting a lot of new people. Also there's four of us and 2 of them are freshies from the mtc! And last week was awesome because we were able to find some that wants to get baptized in the future!
