Hey everyone hope you had a good Christmas! My Christmas was good! It was really chill because our president said we had to stay inside all day but it was still good. It honestly just didnt feel like christmas because of how hot and humid is it here hahah. This last week was a really good week, we went and visited some people and had two bapstims. It was crazy when we went and visited the people and we had to take like a 20min bus ride out of town then we walked like 20 minutes into the jungle. This family lived on a farm in the jungle. They literally had cows and pigs and chickens. Super awesome family though. They gave us a huge bag of Maracuya, which is a super popular fruit here because it grows like a weed. It makes the best juice though. They baptisms were great as well. I was able to baptize again! We went to there wedding in the morning and then we went to the baptism straight after!  Im pretty excited for New years here! Its a tradition in Ecuado...

6 months! - Quito North, Ecuador

Hey everyone! Last week I hit 6 months! Feels good having some time in the mission. Feels weird though because I feel new because I just got to this mission 3 weeks ago hahah.  This week we had a baptism and I got to do it! We also had a christmas devotional in Quito with two other zones. We had to take a 5 hour bus ride on Wednesday to Quito and we ended up staying two nights in the mission home. When we went back to Quito I freaking out about how nice it was there, at least compared to where I am at in Quininde, and I was even a little culture shocked when I first got to Quito from Utah hahah.  Spanish is coming along. Its pretty tough but I love the language, I already know the gift of tongues is real! Merry Christmas!! I am so grateful for this time of year and the birth of Jesus Christ. I have really come to know my Savior just in these past 6 months! Christ has really felt all of our pains and our sufferings. It's hard to comprehend because even just for one person ...

Yo! Yes I made it to  Ecuador  sorry i didnt have time last week to write. We got here and stayed three nights at the mission home and it was so lit. We then got our companions and i found out i was going to the beach zone. I was like yes i get to see the beach! Then i found out it was an hour and a half from the beach and it super hot and humid haahha. This town i am in is called Quininde and its super small but our whole district covers the town. My companion is from Bolivia and he speaks a little english haha. Its a crazy town is pretty small but always so busy in the street and a party lol. We pretty much eat chicken and rice for every meal and ofc, Coke. There is a bread shop on every corner and the bread is so cheap and fresh it is sooo good. This week we visited some families and it was so really humbling we are really blessed in the US. People are so awesome here though, super nice. My  Spanish  is coming along its pretty difficult but its coming ! Tha...
