Ethan Rasmussen Quito Ecuador Mission June 2021 - June 2023

Hey everyone. I had a pretty good week! So sorry I didn't write the last two weeks, this is because I was stuck in quarantine because my companion got the rona. One thing that was crazy though was that when we were in quarantine we got 3 referrals, and that rarely happens. So when our quarantine got done we were so ready to work hahah. Last week was sweet though, we got to meet all of our referrals, we had a crazy spiritual lesson with one of them, and now we're just trying to meet with them again! Also on Saturday there was a party put on by out Spanish Ward in the Stake called the Celebracion de las Nacionales. It was so sweet there was so much food from like every country in South America, except Ecuador that was pretty sad. But I tried talking to everyone there in Spanish and that was so fun. I've noticed a lot on my mission that God answer our prayers and if we have a question or need his help he will answer them. This doesn't mean it will be right away always but ...

  This last week was a good week! Some how I'm already done with my first transfer, so crazy. And also just found out I'm staying with my same companion for this next transfer. This week we had an awesome lesson with one of the guys we were teaching. We had his lesson just at a church building and we brought this really cool member with us. Earlier that day we planned out his whole lesson. When we started the lesson we just kinda started it normally but then it became this dope spiritual discussion, and every point that we planned out, they would bring it up. It was so sick the spirit was totally guiding that lesson, I could feel it so strong. Other than that nothing else too crazy happened. Still studying Spanish everyday. Also I'm homies with the Spanish elders here so they helping me out with my Spanish which is nice. We keep searching for more people to teach, so hopefully we find someone this week!  1 two comps I'm rooming with 2 & 3 ice cream with Spanish miss...
